Beginning Monday, February 23, the intersection of 8th Street and North Grand Avenue will be closed for water main relocation work as part of the Springfield Rail Improvements Project. This phase of work is expected to last 10 days and will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

Traffic lanes will remain closed for this phase of work until surface pavement repairs are completed. Motorists should plan alternative routes to avoid delays, slow down, and drive with caution through this work zone.
