CWLP water crews are responding to a break to an 18-inch transmission water main on the west side of the 3100 block of Chatham Road. South-bound lanes of Chatham Road will be closed between Wabash Avenue and Seven Pines Road. There are a few commercial customers in the area that will be without water service during work. Other customers served by this water main in neighborhoods around Seven Pines Road may experience reduced water pressure during the work, which is planned to begin after 12 p.m. today.
Crews will work to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible to restore service to all areas. Motorists are advised to drive safe in these work zones where crews and equipment are situated in and near the roadway.
